Over the past 6 months the Board of Trustees and the Building committee has held several meetings to determine a list of work items that should be completed to enable the success of the Student Movement program.  The list of work items was determined by a collaborative effort which included current youth, former youth, the Director of Student Ministries, other Senior Staff and other interested individuals. We felt it was necessary to share with our membership the progress that has been made to complete the agreed upon work items.

Completed Work Items:

  • Foundation Repaired  [$6000]
  • Parking Lot Resurfaced [$36000]
  • Installation of New Commercial Grade Basketball Goals [$1200]
  • Replaced all Exterior Doors [$11,300]
  • Installed Internet/Phone/TV hookups [monthly recurring cost]
  • Installed State of the Art Security System [monthly recurring cost]
  • Installed Student Movement FUMC Marquee
  • Fire Alarm System [$10,000 budgeted]
  • Repair broken A/C units [$2500 budgeted]
  • Exterior Painting [$4000 budgeted]
  • Worship Center Remodeled and Painted professionally after the audio/visual pre-wire completed [$2000 allocated]
  • Drink Vending Machine
Work Items in Progress:
  • Installation of Audio/Visual System [$68,000 budgeted]
  • Seating and Furniture, [$4950 budgeted]
  • Carpet and Flooring professionally installed and cleaned [$300 budgeted]
  • Painting of the Back Room by Volunteers [$250 budgeted for paint]
Work Items Scheduled:
  • Backroom flooring replaced professionally performed after painting completed [$4500 budgeted]
  • Baseball/Softball field [$2000 budgeted]
  • Renovation of the Bathrooms [$1500 budgeted]
