Orion, a professional band that leads the IGNITE Contemporary worship service. This service meets at 11:00 am Sunday morning. Orion consists of 2 guitars, bass, drums, 2 keyboards and vocals. Orion rehearses on Wednesday nights at 8:30 pm. If you have a passion for this kind of worship experience, please come join us on Sunday mornings at 11:00 am to IGNITE your heart and mind to a knowledge of Jesus Christ. |

The Glory Ringers consists of both youth and adults who rehearse on Wednesday nights from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. We have a three to five octave set of bells. The Glory Ringers ring music of all styles as well as ring for Sunday morning worship services for both the 9:00 am and at 11:00 am throughout the year. Come join us as we ring for the glory of God.
October 30, 2011 Handbells will share during the 9:00 am worship service. |

The Chancel Choir is open to youth, young adults and anyone who have a passion for singing and for leading worship. Its purpose is to lead worship for the 9:00 am Sunday morning traditional service by leading hymns, singing responses as well as singing anthems.
The Chancel Choir sings the great music of the church from all generations. They give two major concerts a year accompanied with orchestra; One at Easter and one at Christmas.
If you have a passion for worship and singing, please come join us in singing praises to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Rehearsals are Wednesday nights from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us here at First United Methodist Church Burleson.

The SonShine Singers is open to children grades 1- 5. They rehearse on Wednesdays from 5:00 pm to 5:30 pm. The purpose of this group is to provide children a place to learn to sing and to prepare songs for both the 9:00 am and the 11:00 am worship services on Sunday mornings throughout the year. The children prepare one major concert a year usually in the spring besides a Christmas Eve pageant, music for Vacation Bible School and Music Camp, which are both held during the summer.
We invite you to bring your children and have them join us in singing songs for Jesus. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us here at First United Methodist Church Burleson.
